Our Partner of the Month for September and October is the Surfrider Foundation!
Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit, environmental organization dedicated to protecting our ocean, waves, and beaches. Surfrider Chapters can be found in every coastal and Great Lake state in the United States! In Hawaii, Surfrider has volunteer-based chapters on the Islands of O’ahu, Maui, Kaua’i, and Hawai’i. New volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to get involved to help protect the local marine resources, surf breaks, and coastlines.
The Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter is active in the local community, hosting coastal cleanups, supporting ocean-friendly restaurants, and monitoring Maui’s ocean cleanliness and quality with their Blue Water Task Force Program. Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Pacific Whale Foundation classrooms in Maalaea and all are welcome! To learn more about Surfrider’s Maui Chapter and how to get involved, check out their website at https://maui.surfrider.org.
Skyline is proud to support the Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter for the months of September and October. When you book a zipline tour with us at zipline.com/maui for our Maui courses, you can also donate directly to Surfrider Foundation’s non-profit efforts on Maui.
