Sophisticated Engineers

All our equipment is the product of meticulous crafting and careful engineering with a leading engineering consulting firm.

We train our guides above and beyond the industry standard of 40 hours. Each guide goes through an 80 hour training process, as well as a period of "assistant guiding."

Every day, our trained staff thoroughly inspects all ziplines, platforms, trails, and equipment on each of our courses.

Each year, an accredited ACCT inspector conducts a comprehensive review of each Skyline course, piece of equipment and all current practices.

Skyline Haleakala

We’re located on the slopes of Haleakala just outside the national park. Our lines weave through groves of eucalyptus trees and pieces of untouched Hawaiian nature.

Upcountry Maui’s sunrise will introduce you to colors you never knew existed, its volcanic and subtropical landscape will open up unforgettable views, and its food and drink will introduce your palate to flavors you won’t find anywhere else.

Skyline Guide
“Attended a 5-line zipline adventure in Maui. It was an excellent experience and Pona and Melvin were very helpful and experienced guides—we couldn't be any happier with the adventure. ”
“Our guides Pono & Melvin did an outstanding job and absolutely made the adventure fun and entertaining. The zipline adventure was great but your guides were just as entertaining.”
“Make sure "Fabio" and "Pretty boy" are your guides, some of the driest and most organically executed humor I've had the pleasure of experiencing in a while. ”
“Our guides Aka and Jordan made it a great adventure! The zip lines were all fun, but these guides of ours rocked it!!”
  • Where do we check in?

Haleakala Sunrise Bike n' Zip tour guests will have the option of complimentary transportation depending on the location of your accommodations. Your transportation options will be confirmed at time of booking by one of our reservation agents.

  • Are there any health issues I should consider?

Customers with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that anyone with who has had recent surgery, especially on ankles, knees or their back, not participate in this tour. Although we try to always make customers comfortable both physically and mentally, there is some degree of impact on joints or some degree of customer anxiety about zipping which is unavoidable.  The inherent risks of walking on unimproved hiking trails, joint impacts associated with zipline landings, and anxiety associated with participating in an adventure activity which involves flying through the air should be considered before going on a zipline tour.

  • How good of shape do I need to be in?

Ziplining isn't strenuous, but you need to be able to hike about 1/2 mile and climb steps. We have had people from age 10 to 100 do the course without problems.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

We have a generous cancellation policy. 48 hours or more before your

tour and you will receive a 100% refund. Less than 48 hours, no refund.

  • Can I bring my camera/phone?

Yes, you may bring your camera/phone along to snap photos along the way. You can also rent a Go-Pro camera (you'll see this option when you check out).

  • What kind of shoes should I wear?

For your safety, we require that you wear shoes with a fully enclosed heel and toe. Tennis/athletic shoes or hiking type shoes are best. No hiking sandals, Teva Sandals, KEEN's, Crocs, TOMS, Vibram FiveFingers or Skechers Shape Ups are allowed on the course. Shoes must be snug to your foot.  No loose-fitting or un-laced Converse-style shoes are allowed.

  • What should I wear?

We recommend bringing a light jacket as it can get chilly sometimes at a 4,200 foot elevation.

  • What level of bike riding experience should I have?

We recommend you have some recreational bike experience to enjoy the tour.

  • Is the Bike n' Zip tour available every day of the week?

No, the tour is only available Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Would recommend and visit again! Worth every penny
Just finished our zipline tour in the Haleakala course with Kyle and Jen as our guides and had a great time! Both guides were friendly and knowledgeable and more than happy to make conversation.
Highlight of the entire trip!
We passed by the Skyline Eco Adventure on the way up to the top of Haleakala and thought "maybe we should give this a try when we finish up with the long trek to the top." and boy am I glad we did! We spent 8 days in Maui and the zip line tour may have been the highlight of the entire trip! Our tour guides Tim and Kuaola were fantastic, they were both funny and had plenty of great information on the islands history and also had awesome suggestions for other activities and great places to grab a bite.
Fun and Informative
We had a wonderful time up on the mountain. Tim kept us laughing the entire time. We appreciate that they give back to the environment and teach us...
